These are our "spent" mushroom grow blocks which we have fruited once or twice in our grow room. They will produce mushrooms when kept in the shade and with the right weather conditions but they are primarily valued for their use as an amazing soil conditioner for gardens. They can be easily crumbled and mixed 25-50% with potting soil or there are certain plants such as capsicums + chillis which love to be planted with 100% mushroom compost on its own for large yields.

Mushroom compost can be spread on top of soil in a 5cm thick layer or incorporated into the top 10-30cm of soil to conserve water, provide slow release nutrition and increase resistance to heat/erosion/wind. It is rich in nitrogen and known to be particularly effective at increasing orchard yields through the restoration of mycorrhizae. Will increase yields for any kind of fruit, vegetable etc.

Contains Eucalyptus sawdust and barley, fully composted by a range of mushroom species including Oyster, Lion's Man, Enoki and Shiitake.
